Step By Steps

Recipe Notes
Use whatever type of chocolate you prefer, or you almond bark, if you'd rather.
How to melt chocolate in the microwave might be helpful.
Use a regular peanut butter--not an all-natural variety, which will be too oily for this recipe. Crunchy peanut butter has not been tested with this bark recipe but I can't see why it wouldn't work.
Store in the freezer or refrigerator until ready to eat.
Storage and Make Ahead Notes
Store in a sealed container, in the refrigerator, for up to 1 week.
Store in a sealed container, in the freezer, for up to 3 months. I do not suggest leaving this out of a chilled environment for long or the bananas go bad.

Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Bark

Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Bark is the perfect treat for summer or even all year round. With only 4 ingredients, it’s not only quick, but it’s super easy to toss together. No oven, no fancy ingredients, just a satisfying, and healthier treat.
Ingredients
- 3 Large Bananas
- 10 Ounces Chocolate Chips (your choice of chocolate)
- 1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Coarse Sea Salt
Instructions
Line an 11x15 baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice three bananas into ¼-inch slices.
Place the sliced bananas on the sheet pan in a rectangular shape, leaving some room on the sides of the pan. This doesn’t need to be perfect, but try to get the slices touching each other.
Once you have all your bananas lined up, place the peanut butter into a microwave-safe pourable measuring cup. Microwave on high for 40 seconds, stopping after 20 seconds to stir before resuming.
Pour the melted peanut butter over the top of the banana slices. Try not to pour it off the edges of the bananas and keep it closer to the center. Use a rubber spatula to gently spread the peanut butter over the bananas evenly.
Place the sheet pan with banana slices and peanut butter in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
Before pulling the pan out of the freezer, place the chocolate chips in a clean, pourable measuring cup and microwave them on high for 2 minutes, pausing every 30 seconds to stir the chips, until they’re completely smooth when stirred.
Remove the pan from the freezer and pour the melted chocolate over the top of the peanut butter and bananas. Again, try to not pour it off the edge and keep more to the center.
Use a clean rubber spatula to gently spread the chocolate even across the peanut butter sheet.
Once you’re satisfied with how the chocolate looks, sprinkle the sea salt over the top and place the bark back in the freezer for 20-30 minutes or until hardened.
Break into pieces and enjoy!

You can use whatever toppings you prefer instead of sea salt such as sprinkles or chopped nuts.
You can use your favorite chocolate such as white chocolate, milk chocolate, etc. instead of the dark chocolate.
The brand and quality of chocolate definitely determines the overall flavor outcome of this treat. I use Ghirardelli and it turns out perfect.
