Elf on Shelf Poop Museum is a fun idea for kids as well as for the adults creating them.
My friend Chausa spent about five minutes creating this Elf on the Shelf idea for her son using an assortment of candies.

Elf on the Shelf Arrival Idea
So this Elf on the Shelf Museum of Poop was my friend Chausa's idea.
She has a school-age son that she creates elf magic for during December.
I don't have a ton of kid recipes and content here, besides the Apple Drink with Red Hots, Frozen Gummy Bears, Nougat Gum Drop Candy, the Sugar Cookie Fudge and Blue Cookie Monster Cookies.
But I knew you would enjoy seeing her creativity so I pleaded with Chausa to let me share the idea and her photo and she relented!
What's Elf on the Shelf?
The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition is a 2005 American picture book for children, written by Carol Aebersold and her daughter Chanda Bell and illustrated by Coë Steinwart, according to Wikipedia.
The book tells a Christmas-themed story, written in rhyme, that explains how Santa Claus knows who is naughty and nice. It describes elves visiting children from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve, after which they return to the North Pole until the next holiday season.
The Elf on the Shelfcomes in a keepsake box that features a hardbound picture book and a small scout elf.
The story was inspired by a family tradition that started with Carol Aebersold when she was a child, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and which she later carried on with her twin daughters, Chanda Bell and Christa Pitts, in Georgia.
There is the original Elf on the Shelf book complete with girl elf.
And then a boy elf with book .

Recipe Notes
I feel a bit silly adding a recipe notes section because really, all this elf poop museum entails is putting candy balls of various sizes in little containers with labels.
Speaking of the labels, Chausa used her Cricut to make them.
DTC Fluffy Socks was the font she chose for the museum labels.
How to Create a Funny Elf Display
Create little displays of candy "poop" using paper candy cups or cupcake liners for the following creatures:
- Santa
- Grinch
- Snowman
- Elf
- Unicorns
- Reindeer
What Are the 3 Elf Rules?
Don’t touch your elf.
Elves can’t talk but they are great listeners.
Scout elves have to return to the North Pole on Christmas Eve to assist Santa.
But the there are also Buddy the Elf Rules.
The Code of The Elves
1. Treat every day like Christmas.
2. There’s room for everyone on the nice list.
3. The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.

This museum would be a fun one to create for older kids too as well as younger kids who might be learning how to use the potty by themselves.
