Garlic Lime Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 4 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  • Mix spices together in a small bowl. Sprinkle a bit of the mixture on each side of the chicken breast and rub in.
  • Heat butter and oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Saute chicken until golden brown about 5 to 6 minutes each side.
  • Remove chicken.
  • Add lime juice and chicken broth to the pan, whisk up the browned bits off the bottom of the pan. Cook until sauce has reduced slightly.
  • Return chicken to the pan and cook two to three more minutes until chicken is thoroughly coated with sauce.
