- 1 cup butter room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs room temperature
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chocolate covered raisins 2 movie theater boxes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper. Cream the butter in a mixing bowl or the bowl of your stand mixer. Add sugars and mix about three minutes until fluffy. Don't forget to scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula and to scrape the bottom of the bowl, if using a stand mixer.Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly to combine.Stir in vanilla extract.Add flour and baking soda. Mix until just combined.Add chocolate covered raisins and chocolate chips. Stir with spatula well to combine.Using a 3/4 ounce cookie scoop, drop scoops of dough on parchment lined sheet. If using a half sheet pan, you can get 12 cookies on a sheet. Bake at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes. When you smell the cookies, they are done or nearly so.
