Movie Talk
I’d like to take my teenager to see The Incredibles movie on Sunday but I think he might be busy with friends. We saw the first Incredibles when he was just a little guy. It was a lot of fun.
But, I understand the characters haven’t aged. When I heard they were coming out with a sequel I sort of expected the kids to have become teenagers like mine. That might still be okay. It can be incredibly sad when the characters in childrens’ movies grow up. I’m thinking of Toy Story 3 and that heartbreaking scene when the older brother is saying goodbye to the younger sister. So, maybe it’s for the best the franchise is picking up right where they left off. What do you think?
