Happy Labor Day Weekend!

What’s on your agenda?

I’m psyched that it’s a long weekend and maybe it’s the thought of a three day weekend but I’m feeling energetic and like I want to clean and organize!

Quick, someone call a doctor. I never, ever, ever am in a mood to clean and organize.

In fact I started cleaning last night.

I have three baskets of beauty products, you know, nail polishes, make up samples, bottles of conditioner I got at Walgreen’s for free.

So, it was long overdue to clean them out.

I did that last night while I watched a spooky new to me show on Sundance called Midwinter of the Spirit.

I’m having a free trial of Sundance right now through Amazon Prime because I had to see the second season of Riviera.

Riviera a mystery set in of course, the Riviera, with Julia Stiles.

Part of the fun of growing older is seeing how my favorite actresses from my own younger years of aged.

Got to say, girlfriend looks good. Looking at her jaw line, I wonder if she’s had a nip or a tuck.

I loved Julia in 10 Things I Hate About You.

I recently rewatched that with my teenage son and he liked it too.

Of course, the storyline, being based on a Shakespeare play, The Taming of the Shrew, is a classic.

My favorite scene from the film:

But, back to the scary show I was watching, I forget the name of it but it’s about a vicar in England who moves to a new town and church for training to be an exorcist. Onlly they don’t call her an exorcist it’s something else.

I highly recommend it.

What I haven't gotten done this week is any reading.

I'm hoping to settle in with the weekend WSJ tomorrow and a pot of coffee.

Do you have children?

Do you have that tradition of giving them books on birthdays and holidays?

One way to do that for less is get book subscriptions then divide up the delivery and wrap them up individually for gifts.

Have you heard of Bookroo?

It's a subscription box for children's books to help kids fall in love with reading. They offer curated boxes of individually wrapped books for ages 0-10: board books for ages 0-3, picture books for ages 2-6, and chapter books for ages 7-10.

You can get 20 percent off a three month Bookroo subscription during September.

What are you doing over the weekend?
