Cooking: Now that it’s June and actually starting to warm up a bit in Maine, the husband and son have been clamoring for a side dish of potato salad.
It’s so delish and you’ll be surprised at how much you love the dill/jalapeno combo.
You need a sturdy pot for candy making and mine are a bit sad.
I don’t want to burn good candy ingredients!
Eating: I’ve been gorging on something called dark chocolate raspberry Tru Fruit that I found at Sam’s Club.
Dark chocolate and raspberry is one of my most favorite flavor combinations ever.
Drinking: All.The.Espresso. Preferably iced with a teaspoon of heavy cream.
Watching: The Big Flower Fight on Netflix.
I’m fascinated with this show because I ADORE flowers and all green things.
But, I can’t decide how well I like it.
Some of the contestants aren’t very likeable. Perhaps that’s by design.
Have you seen it?
Planting: Everything, I’m planting everything.
Lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, dahlias, sweet peas (the flower), rue, basil, nasturtiums. And that’s not everything.
I’ve got more flower seeds going but I can’t remember everything right now.
It’s my bedtime as I write this.
Do you need a super cheap but delicious and decadent breakfast? You need this recipe for donuts made from a can of biscuit dough! That’s less than 15 cents a donut. Plus the kids can help you roll the donuts in sugar.
