Did you know why we celebrate March 17? That’s the day St. Patrick of Ireland died, in the year 461. It’s not because St. Patrick drove the snakes from Ireland. According to the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin, the country has never had snakes.
Patrick was not Irish but was a bishop who allegedly brought Christianity to much of Ireland. According to Catholic.org, Patrick used clovers to explain the holy trinity.
